About Kerr Designs
Artist Gail Kerr has created one of a kind artwork for over 20 years. Her coastal mirror collection is her newest endeavor and is designed around beach finds and other natural elements to create a truly unique piece of art.
Gail uses her many years of experience in the arts to create one of a kind shell and river rock mirrors. Her love of the ocean has inspired her to combine ideas and talents to form these extraordinary mirrors.
Gail grew up in Ft Lauderdale and lived throughout Florida never far from the coast. Earning a B.A. in art from Florida State University, she worked as a graphic designer for several years. Then she entered the demanding corporate world, putting her creative endeavors on hold except for personal projects. While living in Georgia. the life near the ocean was always calling. When an opportunity to return to Florida’s northeast coast presented itself, she was more than ready.
With her dog in tow, Gail searches the shore daily, awaiting the next tide’s gifts. The finds are amazing from cockles, barnacles and sea glass to worm eaten shell pieces, the variety is astounding. It’s these finds that inspire her one-of -a- kind designs.
